Fillies and Gentlecolts, I am happy to announce that the Chapter One rewrite will soon be completed, not only doubling the wordcount, but adding a lot more depth to the inciting events of the story. In fact, the chapter has changed so much--namely in the removal of the older sisters framing device--that it is being renamed from "A Story Two-thousand Years in the Making" to "A Wizard's Duty"!
I have just released a major update to Chapter Two of The Tale of Two Sisters. I wouldn't announce a typical change, but this has been a significant addition. To aid the flow of the story and create a more fulfilling arc per-chapter, I have divided a significant portion of the unreleased Chapter Three to append Chapter Two with over 1,300 words, making the chapter over a third longer. So, someone might be wondering why I uploaded the last chapter of The Tale of Two Sisters as "part one", which is not something I've done before. This was because not only was it a long chapter that was taking a long time to proofread, but I have now run into the problem of time-travel details. I was about to define the exact length of time the sisters had spent in stone, when the only person I know who reads my story pointed out how confusing the two time skips were. I
Following the release of Chapter 18 Part 2 of TToTS, I think it is time to focus on making the gateway to the story something I can feel proud of. I am genuinely ashamed of the initial chapters compared to the newer ones, and actively avoid sharing its existence with new readers because of it. I know there is no such thing as the perfect story, but I believe my understanding of writing and the effort I'm willing to put into it has come a long way since 2018.
So... as those who read the summary of Chapters of a Revamped Tome know, my AU in general is meant to retool parts not only of the animated series (both My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and Equestria Girls), but also certain parts of expanded media elements.
Following my last post, I should update anyone who cares on the state of things at the moment. Progress has been slow after the Ukraine war, which has completely destroyed my creativity (and faith in this rotten world), however I just realised that I have done a lot more than is uploaded right now:
The Tale of Two Sisters
Ch.19 - 8,900 words. Requires final proofing pass and an external pass before upload.
Ch.20 - 4,100 words, 50-75% written.
So, I picked up and read through the Journal of the Two Sisters, mostly to try to decide for the final pass whether it should be Three Tribes or three tribes. I learned a couple things, one of which was that I'm overall not going to be matching their capitalization; it reads like they're saying Unicorn is to British, not unicorn is to human, but that doesn't work for me; I'll chalk it up to the gulf of time if I have to do so.

This is the main reason why I decided to skip over the comics a few weeks ago. I like the idea of the first card blog of 2022 using one of the oldest in-universe documents we have for source material. Let’s see what the diarchs thought of their first days on the throne.
I still remember how the pilot to My Little Pony forced me to re-evaluate my relationship with the Sun and the Moon. It was a wake up call - an invitation to see them, not as GIANT BALLS OF SCIENCE AND STUFF (as had previously been believed), but as the magical horse princesses that they are!
This episode is a bombshell. I didn't expect what happened and I had to watch it seven times so that my brain could process all of it. Tirek, Chrysalis, Cozy Glow, Grogar, the LAST Summer Sun Celebration..... It's all an enormous mix of emotions; sadness, excitement, trepidation and fear. Fear for the Future.
"Horse Play" aired and with it, the Student Six returned onto the screen! 
And even though they were confined to the background, this episode got me very excited because of something else:
Thanks to Pinkie Pie, we got informed how long ago it was exactly since Celestia raised the sun for the first time!
